VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

This car accelerates from an initial speed of twenty one meters per second to zero and it does this in six seconds and the question is how far does it go. This formula fits the bill because it has all those variables in it including the unknown that we want to find and we’ll substitute our valuables into it. We have zero meters per second as the final speed plus twenty one meters per second for the initial speed all divided by two multiplied by six second gives us a distance of sixty three point zero meters. For the 5th Edition we have twenty five meters per second and five seconds, substituting those numbers here we have a final answer for the 5th Edition of sixty two and a half meters.
