This is Giancoli Answers with Mr. Dychko. We can find resistance by dividing both sides of this equation by current. So V equals IR. We divide both sides by I, And we isolate R on one side and we have V over I on the other side. So, the toaster has a resistance of 120 Volts divided by 4.6 Amps which is about 26 Ohms.
